If you haven't heard of TSA Pre✓^TM, it's a program that allows select frequent flyers to move through airport security much more quickly than everyone else (those that are eligible don't have to remove their shoes, light outerwear, or belts, and can leave their laptops and 3-1-1 compliant liquids in their carry-on luggage).

To apply, you must file an application with the TSA and pay the $85 enrollment fee, which covers you for five years. If you're approved, don't expect expedited screenings all the time though. For instance, JetBlue and Southwest don't currently participate (although JetBlue is slated to join next month, and Southwest is expected to follow suit), so if you're flying with them, you're out of luck.
