Skybus has become the "little engine that couldn't" as the third carrier in a week or so that could not surmount the stresses of trying to run a small airline (or any airline) in the current industry climate.  Effective today, Saturday, April 5, 2008, Skybus ceases operations.  As has been the case in 2 other examples this week of this kind of shut down due to economic hardship, Skybus advises contacting your credit card company if you've purchased a ticket to arrange for a refund.  If a different method of payment was used or for further information, go to the Skybus website for details.
