Get Paid to Travel the World on WOW Air this Summer
The Icelandic budget carrier is looking for 2 people to help create their digital Travel Guide. To apply, you must create a 2 minute video guide of your hometown, upload it to YouTube, fill out the application, and wait patiently to see if you are chosen. If the idea of spending the summer traveling with your best bud doesn’t appeal to you, that’s okay, they are accepting applications from solo travelers, too.
The lucky duo will travel the world, exploring the local cuisine, culture, nightlife, outside activities, and transportation options of each city. They’ll use their research in each spot to write blogs, vlogs, post to social media, and take photos- all to create a “complete digital travel guide to the destinations.”
If you are picked, you’ll be based out of Reykjavik, and from June 1 to August 15, you will travel to several of the 38 destinations WOW Air flies to. According to Business Insider, the gig pays $4,000/ month, and includes housing, travel expenses, and tours around Iceland.
Applications are currently being accepted, with May 14 as the deadline for submissions, and the announcement of the winners on May 18.
