The flight deals to Europe keep coming in hot. The latest fare war between American and Delta features some excellent sub-$300 fares from each other's hub cities around the nation. Fly to multiple cities in Spain, France, and Italy from $270 roundtrip.
Although we've been seeing these prices pretty often from major cities like Boston, New York, and Miami, we rarely see prices drop this low from smaller hub cities like Atlanta (ATL), Dallas (DFW), Charlotte (CLT), Minneapolis (MSP), Phoenix (PHX), and Salt Lake City (SLC).
Some flights may be operated by airline partners such as Air France, Alitalia, British Airways, or Iberia, and United along with partners are also offering some great fares in certain markets. Who knows how long these deals will stick around. We're already starting to see prices jump on certain booking sites so I'd suggest booking right away if you see something you like.
Travel Availability
These discounted fares are mostly available for travel to Europe Sundays through Wednesdays, returning from Europe Tuesdays through Fridays. A few routes may have the same or similar low fares for travel on other days of the week. A 7-night stay is required on most routes, but a few may only require a Saturday night stay.
Since these fares only require a 28-day advance purchase, you may depart from the U.S. starting in late July for many of these routes. However, your return date from Europe must be August 15, or later. Some of the routes listed only have these low fares available for departures starting in September or October.
You'll find the low fares available for travel through March 2020 and some are also available through May. Click on the fare details below for more booking info. Peak holiday travel times in late December and early January are blacked out, though you may find availability over New Year's if you stay through the first week of January.
Sale Period
This sale is unadvertised and fares may jump at any moment. Try many different sites if you are finding prices jumping as inventory is going quickly and may still be available on another booking engine.

Baggage
Basic Economy fares only include a carry-on bag plus one personal item. The first checked piece of luggage will cost $60 each-way. On some routes, it's may be the same price to upgrade to a Main Cabin Economy fare. Main Cabin Economy fares include one free checked bag.
Seat Assignments
Seats will be assigned at random upon check-in for Basic Economy. You may be able to pay a fee to choose a specific seat. Main Cabin Economy fares include advanced seat assignments.

Alternate Fares
Upgrading to Main Cabin Economy will cost an additional $120-$180 on most routes. Certain travel dates and/or routes may be much more to upgrade. This type of fare will include one free checked bag, seat selection, and are eligible for ticket changes (fee applies)/upgrades.
